Preparing content for PDF
Once you have the content of your book ready, and you know just
how much text and graphics it will contain, it is time to
request a full quote,
letting us know your preferences for paper, colours, and binding.
Illustrations can appear in special sections of your
publication, on paper of a different format, or they can be
dispersed amongst your text. Costs and page count are important
considerations when deciding on adding illustrations. The details of
your choices can be included in the quote.
This is also the point at which you can submit your print-ready PDF
to us. We will guide you through the upload process stage by stage.
A proof of your PDF will be emailed to you for checking and approval.
The proof will show the printable materials in full size on screen, just
as they will appear in the final printed publication. Should you spot
anything that needs changing, please note that this proof is intended
less for finding changes to make to the text and more for you to focus
on whether the material is properly laid out and ordered.
Let us know if you spot anything with which you are unhappy.
